Goal:

To rationally design and implement selective chemicals that can manipulate biological processes.

A Major Emphasis is to Combat Problems Associated with Chemotherapy

   1. Side effects such as immunosuppression and alopecia
that result from non-selective killing of cells.

   2. Drug resistance caused by efflux of
       chemotherapeutic agents.

Strategy:
Understand the biological problem & use chemicals to solve it. Our research is currently aimed at developing novel chemotherapeutic agents. Learn more about our research
